The
Erectease is a mechanical,
non-surgical method of filling
the penis with blood and
simulating a natural erection.
Patients select one of three
soft suitably sized retention
rings (Erectassist ) and
attach it to the vacuum chamber.
The vacuum chamber is placed
over the penis and pumped.
This action quickly draws
blood into the penis. During
this process the vacuum pressure
is controlled using the finger
valve.
When fully erect, the ring
slides onto the base of the
penis to maintain the appropriate
pressure within the penis,
and the vacuum chamber is then
removed. The patient then proceeds
with intercourse. Once completed,
the handles of the ErectassistTM
ring handles are pulled outwards
to enable the penis to go back
to the flaccid state before
removing the ring completely. |

Once
the Erectease vacuum pump has
created an erection, the Erectassist ‘retention
ring’ maintains penile
rigidity by restricting the
amount of blood flowing out
of the penis. The Erectassist
may be used alone or in conjunction
with the Erectease.
The
loading cone is used to stretch
the correct size Erectassist ‘retention
ring’ over the transfer
collar. This collar is then placed
over the penis and the retention
ring is slid off and onto the
base of the penis. This comfortably
restricts the blood flow out
of the penis and thereby maintains
