Ian Davidson PhD - Technical

Ian gained a PhD from the University
of Edinburgh for studies into
the structure of a microbial
polysaccharide. After a period
of post doctoral work at the
Ministry of Defence, Ian joined
Corning Medical initially in
Essex but subsequently in Massachusetts.
During this time with Corning
he was responsible for the development
of immunoassays for application
in thyroid & anaemia
disorders. Ian joined Unipath
directly from USA and enjoyed
a number of years developing
pregnancy & ovulation
tests for home use as well as
a number of tests for use in
clinics & laboratories
under the Clearview brand. Tests
such as Clearview Chlamydia,
Clostridium difficle, Listeria & Strep
A.
Ian has been responsible for
bringing the PSAwatch to commercial viability
